This lot is a blend of different varieties - because Finca Aurora is so small that certain lots are processed together.

This blend brings together 5 different varieties: Geisha, Pache, Bourbon, Catimor and the Caturra, which make for an exciting and delicious profile. Due to the high cultivation altitude, the cherries also ripen particularly slowly, so that the profile can become particularly complex: we taste an almost buttery sweetness, with the acidity of pears, the body is light and clear, which is not least due to the washed processing. The finish is long-lasting and sweet, with nutty notes.

Über die Farm

Finca La Aurora is located in the Villa Rica region of Peru and is run by Senora Olga Tello Quintana. She cultivates excellent organic Arabica coffee in different varieties. Her parents came to Villa Rica from the Andes in 1960 and started growing coffee in 1978. Senora Quintana is committed to her Andean roots and cultivates her organic coffee on her finca according to the principles of agroforestry and with respect for the biodiversity of her homeland. Producing the best qualities fills her with joy and is her commitment to the future.
