Finally the time has come, with the long days comes the desire to simply sit outside for a long time and enjoy every ray of sunshine. This pleasure is captured by the seasonally fresh dishes on our summer menu:
Classics first - seasonless classics include sourdough toast, homemade from our 19grams Cakery, with butter and jam, and our homemade granola with fresh wild berries and turmeric yogurt.
If you like it heartier in the morning, you'll definitely get your money's worth with the Tomatoes on Toast. These are based on last summer's dish, but this year come with a Georgian Lobio bean spread - completely vegan, gluten-free optional.
Joining us for the first time is the French Brioche Toast, sweet brioche baked in the pan as a French toast (or poor knight) should be, topped with strawberry coulis, fresh berries, mint creme fraiche and almond crunch. Served warm!
Of course, along for the ride is our interpretation of Eggs Benedict: the Brioche Benedict comes on brioche toast topped with creamy spinach, two eggs and a citrus brown butter hollandaise sauce. Choice of bacon, salmon or romanesco broccoli.
We finish with the delicious Summer Brassica Salad, made of roasted romanesco and radicchio lettuce. Accompanied by sweet pickled kohlrabi, radishes, roasted walnuts, pomegranate and vegan ranch dressing.
