Marsellesa is a hybrid variety of the Sarchimor family, a cross between Villa Sarchi (a natural Bourbon mutation, such as Caturra and Pacas) and a leaf rust resistant hybrid from Timor-Leste (CLR). Sarchimor is a good blend of the flavour profile of Bourbon (via Villa Sarchi, a close genetic relative of Bourbon) and the resilience of the disease-resistant hybrid from Timor-Leste.
