Congo

Arabica coffee is grown in Congo only very sporadically in the south and east of the country, in the high mountains. The highest quality coffee is grown in Kivu and Oriental.

Robusta coffee is grown a lot in Congo. There is even a wild Robusta variety, Coffea Congensis, which is only grown here.

While coffee was grown on large plantations in colonial times, it is now grown on tiny farms.

Unfortunately, the Republic of Congo still lacks the necessary infrastructure to facilitate exports. Therefore, it is not easy to get coffee from the Congo.
