Meet Kendall from our bakery and learn how to make the best Marzipan in town
Surely you have met Kendall before - or if not her surely one of the amazing cakes you had with a cup of coffee in one of our Cafés.
Kendall's Marzipan Recipe
makes 10 * 50g Marzipan logs
250g ground almonds
250g icing sugar
5g lemon juice
30 ml water
Combine ground almonds, salt and icing sugar in the food processor until well mixed. In a small bowl, stir together water, rosewater and lemon juice. Add into the food processor and pulse until a ball forms. Split into 10 balls and roll into logs. Wrap in cling film and store in the fridge for up to two weeks. We recommend enjoying this Marzipan with some bloody good coffee - of course.
