About this coffee

This Salvadoran coffee is all about the sweetness. up front, it has a strong, berry-like sweetness and a citrusy acidity, which gives way to notes of chocolate and fudge with a syrupy, sticky mouthfeel, and a tropical sweetness in the finish thanks to the natural processing.

About the farm

As the name suggests, La Montaña is located at the summit of a mountain in Chalatenango, near Rio Lempa in the country's north. Tucked amongst the clouds at 1500 metres above sea level, La Montaña has been a family run farm for 25 years. Besides coffee, the farm is also home to a diversity of animals, as well as many birds that call the region home.
