This Rwenzori Bugoye from Uganda has a rich, candycane sweetness. The fruity acidity tastes like ripe, juicy cherries, and the dense body coasts the palate, leaving a long-lasting finish that tastes like caramel.

Known as the mountains of the moon, the Rwenzori mountains stretch for 120 km across the Congo and Uganda, and reaching 5000 masl provide the necessary day0night temperature swings for coffee cherries to slowly ripen. Besides coffee, cassava, corn, beans and peanuts are also grown in this lush and beautiful region.
